De minimis
The value below which an import is exempt from duties, taxes or both.
Many countries set a threshold below which low-value imports are not charged duty, and sometimes not import tax either. The thresholds vary widely and can apply to duty and tax separately.
Thresholds change, and several markets have lowered or removed them for ecommerce parcels. Pricing that relies on a de minimis exemption should be reviewed whenever rules change.
