Settlement currency
The currency in which a merchant receives funds from its payment provider.
A merchant may charge customers in many currencies and still settle in one, or settle in several to match its costs. Each choice moves the point at which currency conversion happens.
Settling in the same currency a business pays its suppliers in can avoid converting twice.
